OUR PEOPLE BUILD LASTING RELATIONSHIPS

Because everything begins with people

At NorthStar, everything begins with people. For more than three decades, we’ve built partnerships measured in decades, not quarters — grounded in trust, care, and a deep understanding of each client’s priorities. Our team listens with intention, whether guiding individuals through everyday financial decisions or helping institutions align their portfolios with bold strategies for systemic change.

What sets us apart is the authenticity of our leadership: women, BIPOC, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ professionals whose lived experiences mirror the communities we advocate for. Rooted in our Six Pillars and unafraid to challenge entrenched systems, we bring both expertise and conviction to every relationship — proving that wealth can generate not only financial returns, but justice, equity, and lasting impact. And that impact starts — and ends — with people.

CAREERS AT NORTHSTAR

For those who believe work should matter
NorthStar is more than a workplace — it’s a community of people using finance as a tool for justice. We intentionally create space for women, BIPOC, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ professionals to thrive in an industry that has historically marginalized their voices.

We foster a culture of authentic, courageous conversations about systemic racism, gender inequities, human rights, and social justice — because facing these realities is central to our mission. We seek talent that is collaborative, mission-driven, and unafraid to challenge entrenched systems while building meaningful solutions.

We may not have an open position at this time, but if you feel strongly that you have something to offer, we look forward to hearing from you.

NOT HAPPY WITH THE STATUS QUO?
NEITHER ARE WE.
